Thorang Peak

The Himlung Expedition offers an adventurous challenge for mountaineers seeking to conquer one of Nepal's hidden gems, Himlung Himal (7,126 meters). Located in the Manang region, Himlung Himal is a relatively less-traveled peak compared to its more famous counterparts. This expedition provides an opportunity to experience remote and untouched landscapes, including glaciers, alpine meadows, and traditional villages.

Though not as technical as the highest peaks, the Himlung Expedition still demands strong physical fitness, technical climbing skills, and resilience in high-altitude conditions. With its stunning beauty and relatively less crowded paths, it is ideal for climbers seeking an alternative to the more popular 8,000-meter expeditions.

The expedition begins with a trek to Base Camp, followed by gradual acclimatization and several climbing rotations. Summit day is challenging, with steep ascents and unpredictable weather, but the view from the summit offers a rewarding experience of the surrounding peaks, including Annapurna, Manaslu, and the Tibetan Plateau.
